Join us for a talk with YC President Geoff Ralston and Algolia Founder Nicolas Dessaigne. Geoff Ralston previously built RocketMail which became Yahoo mail, was the Chief Product Officer at Yahoo, CEO of Lala and co-founded Imagine K12. Nicolas Dessaigne is a Visiting Partner at Yc and the Founder of Algolia, a developer-friendly and enterprise-grade search API.
Geoff will cover some of the myths that exist around starting startups, what you should do while you’re still in school if you want to start a company, and he’ll talk about how YC can help you get started. Nicolas will talk about his founder journey, YC experience and give advice for starting a company. Geoff and Nicolas will also spend time answering your questions live.
