Join us for a talk with YC President Geoff Ralston and The Muse Founder Kathryn Minshew. Geoff Ralston previously built RocketMail which became Yahoo mail, was the Chief Product Officer at Yahoo, CEO of Lala and co-founded Imagine K12. Kathryn Minshew is the Founder of The Muse, a values-based careers site that helps Gen Z and millennial candidates find a career path and search for jobs at companies whose people, benefits, and values align with their unique professional needs.
Geoff will cover some of the myths that exist around starting startups, what you should do while you’re still in school if you want to start a company, and he’ll talk about how YC can help you get started. Kathryn will talk about her founder journey, YC experience and give advice for starting a company. Geoff and Kathryn will also spend time answering your questions live.
