About

Join us for a workshop with Y Combinator partner Jared Friedman, Visiting Partner Dr. Uri Lopatin and Alexis Rovner of co-founder and CEO of 64-x.

Since 2014, Y Combinator has funded over 250 bio companies, which makes YC one of the largest seed stage biotech funders in the world.

Learn what it takes to launch and scale a life sciences company and hear how and why biotech startup funding will change in the next 10 years.

The talk will be from 3pm-4pm and food and drinks will be served at a short networking reception after.

Jared and Uri will also host office hours where founders will have the chance to meet with them directly. If you’re looking for advice on turning your research into a company, have questions about fundraising or about YC, we hope to meet you. You can sign up for individual office hours here.

Hosted by the Bakar Fellows Program and the Innovative Genomics Institute.

We strive to make our events accessible and inclusive. The Innovative Genomics Institute Building is ADA accessible, and has a lactation room that visitors can use. For disability accommodation information and requests and/or access to the lactation room, please contact Kristy Nordahl at knordahl@berkeley.edu or 510-664-7110.
